In collaboration with WSG and MAXIMUS Asia, the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) will be organising a SME Webinar on Government Support Programmes and Hiring Solutions for Employers on Fri, 14th Aug 2020. SMEs can develop a strong Singaporean core in a manpower-lean economy through enhanced programmes under the Adapt & Grow Initiative announced by the Ministry of Manpower. In addition to sharing on employment facilitation assistance for SMEs, Workforce Singapore will brief on the various programmes such as Enhanced Career Support Programme, Enhanced Hiring Incentive and Career Trial. Following which, SNEF will be sharing on the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme. This programme aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs. Upon completion of the programme, companies will receive a one-time Assistance Grant of $5,000. In addition, Companies applying under the P-Max track for Singapore Citizens PMETs aged ≥ 50 would be entitled to an additional $5,000 assistance grant (capped at $10,000 per company). Lastly, Maximus Asia has been partnering with WSG on the Career Matching Programme and has worked with partners like SNEF to assist them on informed decisions for the schemes that suits each individual needs.
