The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) together with the Supply Chain & Logistics Academy (SCALA) will be organising a SME Webinar on Government Funded Schemes to Assist Singapore Businesses in Tackling Manpower, Cost and Growth Concerns on Fri, 18 Sep 2020.
The recent COVID-19 situation in Singapore is unprecedented, affecting both businesses and individuals. WSG will be sharing on the various government support schemes such as SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package that is designed to provide manpower support so as to enable companies to prepare for the future and emerge stronger.
IMDA has came up with the new solutions to meet current and anticipated future needs of companies in the Logistics industry. The new Digital Training Roadmap will helps SMEs identify relevant training programmes to upskill their workers as businesses transform digitally
SNEF will talk about the P-Max Place and Train Programme and the Professional Conversion Programme for Professional Executives which aims to assist SMEs to better recruit, train and retain the newly hired PMETs.
SCALA will share about the scheme for employers who are hiring new logistics or supply chain PMETs to tap on 18 months of salary support. This also includes course fee grant and access to accredited training, with mentorship and OJT to help new hire excel in their new roles.
