The Singapore National Employers Federation will be organising a SME Briefing on Employment Support and Government Assistance Schemes for Hiring Employers on Fri, 23 Oct 2020.
At this session, Lifelong Learning Institute will introduce to employers the various functional and thematic designed training venues, with adult learners in mind. With the use of adaptive spaces and furniture, easy-to-use technology and unique immersive environments, these facilities cater to meet all diverse training needs and occasions.
After which, Workforce Singapore will share on the various programmes and recruitment platforms available for hiring employers to tap on. These include, SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways, Career Trial, and the Professional Conversion Programme to encourage employers to hire eligible locals.
Lastly, employers will also find out how the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs. Upon completion of the programme, companies will receive a one-time assistance grant of $5,000. Companies applying under the P-Max track for Singapore Citizens PMETs aged ≥ 50 would be entitled to an additional $5,000 assistance grant (capped at $10,000 per company).
