The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) together with Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and The Resource Group Pte Ltd will be organising an Innovation Talk for SME Companies on Wed, 28 Apr 2021.
At this session, IMDA will introduce to employers the Open Innovation Platform (OIP) which is a virtual crowd-sourcing platform. Through a structured innovation process, IMDA connects and matches real business challenges or digitalisation opportunities of Problem Owners to Problem Solvers. It is a catalyst for the economy’s digital transformation. Through this session, discover how employers can benefit from gaining access to a large community of tech solvers with multi-disciplinary expertise, and crowdsource for innovative ideas to support digitalisation needs.
After which, The Resource Group Pte Ltd will share on the various effectively ways to manage the human capital by increasing productivity to be ready for the post-COVID world and what initiatives the Singapore Government have in place to help SMEs.
Lastly, employers will also find out how the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs. Upon completion of the programme, companies will receive a one-time assistance grant of $5,000. Companies applying under the P-Max track for Singapore Citizens PMETs aged ≥ 50 would be entitled to an additional $5,000 assistance grant (capped at $10,000 per company).
