The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) will be organising a SME Workshop on Leveraging Government Funded Programmes to Improve HR Capabilities on 29 November 2018.
SMEs could develop a strong Singaporean core in a manpower-lean economy through enhanced programmes under the Adapt & Grow Initiative announced by the Ministry of Manpower. In addition to sharing on employment facilitation assistance for SMEs, Workforce Singapore (WSG) will brief on the various programmes such as Enhanced Career Support Programme, Work Trial and Jobsbank.
Following which, SNEF will share the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme which aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs and help SMEs better cope with the challenges of talent recruitment in an increasingly tight labour market. Upon successful completion of the programme, SMEs will be eligible for a one-time Assistance Grant of $5,000.
The Human Resource Shared Services (HRSS) programme is designed to help SMEs improve and optimize HR operational efficiency. At this session, RPAT Pte Ltd will share how SMEs can outsource some of their HR operational activities to enhance their HR systems and processes. Employers will be able to choose from 3 areas of work which are pre-scoped into fixed packages for ease of selection and understanding.
