The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and the SME Centre @ Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SME Centre @SMCCI) will be organising a SME briefing on Government Schemes to support Talent Management and Business Growth on 31 Aug 2018.
At this session, the SME Centre@ SMCCI will share on the programmes and initiatives by Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG) to help SMEs internationalise and develop the skills of their employees. Employer will learn the support available from ESG to support business growth for SME companies and initiatives by WSG to help employers recruit, train, manage and retain their PMETs.
Following which, SNEF will introduce about the various WSG programmes under the Adapt and Grow Initiative on recruitment, training and retention of PMETs. They are as follows:
P-Max Place-and-Train Programme
- Aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME* jobs,
- Receive $5,000 upon successful completion of the programme.
Enhanced Career Support Programme (CSP)
- Encourages employers to tap on wealth of experience that mature PMETs can bring to the workplace,
- PMETs unemployed for six months or more, in mid-level jobs that pay $3,600 will be given wage support.
