The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) will be organising a briefing for SMEs on Government Support Programmes and Hiring Solutions. At this platform the Supply Chain and Logistic Academy (SCALA) will share on how their Attach and Train Prgoramme can help companies prepare PMETs to become job-ready to meet the demands of the industry. This programme aims to assist companies in developing and training their PMETs by providing logistic training conducted by SCALA. PMETs will then be attached to participating companies where they will undergo a customised structured On-Job-Training.
SMEs could develop a strong Singaporean core in a manpower-lean economy through enhanced programmes under the Adapt & Grow Initiative announced by the Ministry of Manpower. In addition to sharing on employment facilitation assistance for SMEs, Workforce Singapore will brief on the various programmes such as Career Support Programme, Work Trial and Jobsbank.
Lastly, the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) will introduce the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme which aims to facilitate the entry of PMEs into suitable SME jobs and help SMEs better cope with the challenges of talent recruitment in an increasingly tight labour market. Upon successful completion of the programme, SMEs will be eligible for a one-time Assistance Grant of $5,000.
